Feasibility and EIA Studies

Feasibility and EIA Studies

About Project

CORE Consulting Engineers Plc. (CORE) successfully executed a multifaceted project encompassing Feasibility and Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Studies, Detailed Engineering Design, Resettlement Action Plan (RAP), and Tender Document Preparation for the Adura – Jikawo Road Project, spanning 36 kilometers. This ambitious project aimed to enhance connectivity and stimulate economic growth in the region, reflecting CORE’s commitment to delivering comprehensive engineering solutions.

The project began with thorough feasibility studies to assess the technical, economic, and environmental viability of the proposed road. CORE’s team conducted extensive field surveys and data collection to understand the existing conditions and potential challenges. The environmental impact assessment was a critical component, ensuring that the project adhered to sustainable practices and minimized its ecological footprint. CORE identified and mitigated potential adverse effects, securing necessary environmental clearances.

Following the feasibility and EIA studies, CORE embarked on the detailed engineering design phase. Leveraging advanced engineering software and methodologies, the team developed precise road alignments, structural designs, and drainage systems. This phase involved meticulous planning to ensure durability, safety, and cost-effectiveness of the road infrastructure. CORE’s design approach emphasized long-term performance and maintenance efficiency, addressing the specific needs of the Adura – Jikawo corridor.

In parallel, CORE prepared a comprehensive Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) to address the social implications of the project. This involved identifying affected communities, assessing the extent of displacement, and developing strategies for fair compensation and resettlement. CORE engaged with local stakeholders to ensure transparency and inclusivity, fostering community support and minimizing resistance to the project.
