Topographic Survey
CORE consulting Engineers provides a service on detailed topographic ground surveys using the most up-to-date surveying equipment such as Total Stations and GPS to examine the road alignment, cross sections and any bridge sites and culvert sites that are considered necessary to complete the detailed design and the estimation of quantities.
The topographic surveying includes the following tasks:
- Location Survey
- Establishment of geodetic control points using (GPS)
- Setting up of permanent beacons to serve as reference during construction
- Development of control traverse-line and geometric level-line
- Detailed field survey using Total Station and GPS with digital Levels, which will have a different precision according to the topographic operations.
- Data Processing and CAD
- Mapping
- Field Verification
- Preparation of Diagrams and Monographs
- Prepare and Deliver a Topographical Report
Geometric and Pavement Design
Geometric Design is the process whereby the layout of the road in specific terrain is designed to meet the needs of the road users, keeping in view the road function, type and volume of traffic, potential traffic hazards and safety, capital cost, maintenance costs, vehicle operating costs, environment impacts, aesthetics as well as convenience of the road users.
CORE Consulting Engineers carry out the geometric design of the road project based on reports of the geotechnical investigations, Hydrological/Hydraulic assessments, bridge layouts and final topographical surveys updated from field reviews and site visits. It shall also take account of the design standards approved or amended by the client arising out of the review of the detailed Design Standards.
Preparation of Tender Document
CORE Strives in assuring sufficiency during tender document preparations to avoid undesirable contractual claims and variations. The tender document will be prepared as per the financer requirements including the set of documents
