Detailed Geotechnical Investigation
In addition to he above mentioned services, the Geotechnical Engineering Department also undertakes detailed geotechnical investigation works through rotary core drilling and geophysical survey. The geotechnical investigation is carried out for foundation investigation of major structures, construction material verification (quarry sources) and geo-hazard prone areas. The rotary core drilling rigs are capable of performing drilling up to 150m.
The Geotechnical investigation services is carried out by a highly skilled team and conducting the required tests at the required depth. The tests includes collecting both disturbed and undisturbed samples for laboratory tests as wells as in-situ tests to check the material stiffness.
The company specializes on conducting geotechnical investigations for geo-hazard prone areas and give sound, economic and safe design alternatives. CORE has carried out a number of detailed investigations (rotary core drilling and geophysical surveys) for landslide prone areas throughout the country.
